Ingredients :
- 1 package refrigerated diced potatoes with onion
- 1 beef top sirloin steak
- 2 teaspoons Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
Directions :
- Prepare potatoes according to package directions; keep warm.
- Meanwhile, rub steak with seasoning. Grill steak, covered, over medium-high heat or broil 3-4 in. from heat 3-5 minutes on each side, until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°). Let stand 5 minutes; slice.
- In a large nonstick skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Break eggs, 1 at a time, into pan; reduce heat to low. Cook to desired doneness. Season with salt and pepper. Serve steak with eggs and potatoes.
