Ingredients :
- 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 1 can cut green beans, drained
- 1 can cut wax beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can butter beans, drained
- 1 can pork and beans
- 3 cans pizza sauce
- Optional toppings: Grated Parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper flakes and minced fresh oregano or basil
Directions :
- In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat, breaking it into crumbles, until no longer pink. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker with a slotted spoon. Add celery and onion to skillet; cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Drain. Add celery mixture and the next 6 ingredients to slow cooker; mix well.
- Cover and cook on low until bubbly, 6-8 hours. If desired, serve with toppings.
