Ingredients :
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 hamburger buns, split
- Optional toppings: Sliced tomatoes, lettuce leaves, sliced avocado, sliced red onion, mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard
Directions :
- In a large bowl, combine bread crumbs, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Add chicken; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into four 1/2-in.-thick patties.
- In a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, cook over medium heat until a thermometer reads 165°, 5-7 minutes on each side. Serve on buns with toppings as desired.
