Air Fryer Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

If the cheese isn’t fully melted before the bread is toasted, turn the temperature down a bit. Also, flipping the sandwich halfway through the cook time should help the heat distribute evenly for the perfectly crispy-on-the-outside, melty-on-the-inside sandwich.

Ingredients :
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices sweet onion
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 6 cooked bacon strips
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
Directions :
  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°. Combine mayonnaise and mustard; spread over 2 bread slices. Layer with cheeses, onion, tomato and bacon; top with remaining bread. Spread outsides of sandwiches with butter.
  2. Place sandwiches in a single layer on a greased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes on each side.
